Is HomeBase free?
Yes! We plan to introduce a paid version eventually, but expect to always have a free version.
Do I have to install anything?
No. HomeBase runs in your browser. It is optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile, so you can pin it to your home screen and use it like an app.
What kinds of home services does HomeBase track?
Anything that needs doing, whether on a schedule or ad-hoc: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, exterior, lawn, appliances, septic, chimney, pest control, and a long tail of less common services. You can add custom services too!
Can I share my home with my partner or family?
Shared households are coming. For now, an account belongs to one person, but you can share login credentials with whoever co-runs the home with you.
What happens to my data?
We keep your data secure, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with marketers.
How do you know what services my home needs?
We take info about your home from you and from public records, combine that with deep research about home maintenance best practices, and use that to deliver a custom maintenance plan for your home.
